A 54 year old British man, Murray Denis Ward, was arrested in Delhi for alleged sexual abuse of three visually impaired children.  Murray had been a regular visitor to the National Association for the Blind, the scene of the incident, for eight years.

The issue came to light when a staff member saw Ward in an “objectionable position” with a few children and complained to the police. According to the police, no other child came forward with a complaint, although objectionable videos were retrieved from Ward’s Laptop.

The investigation against Ward is in progress. Ward has been booked under the Protection of Child Against Sexual Offences Act (POSCOA).
