The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, aims at ensuring that children, who have allegedly committed an offense or found to have committed an offense, receive care, protection, treatment, and rehabilitation. This toolkit has been created to ensure that all their rights are protected at every stage of apprehending, inquiry, aftercare, and rehabilitation. The document provides information to enable monitoring of the rights of such children in observation homes.
