Education and COVID – Part 4: The Many Roles of a School
With schools having been closed for over two months now, the impact will be seen not only on education but in other spheres as well. A school is an integral part of a child’s life whose role goes much beyond providing education. It introduces the child to a structured approach to education and also plays a role in the social and psychological development of the child. When schools close, many children and youth lose out on a lot more than education.
