Mainstreaming The Marginalized

Prerana has been working with women and children from the Red-Light Areas in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, since 1986. They are a section of society that is still ignored and left out of mainstream society. ‘Mainstreaming the Marginalized’ discusses the approach and the process we follow while working to ensure that these invisible women and children move past the trauma to find their place in the outside world. We share this through the story of a mother and daughter’s fight to be more than just a forgotten part of society. Read here
