Social Work Practices at Prerana’s Night Care Center

We aim to enhance the knowledge of social workers and field practitioners about their role while working with vulnerable children, help them understand the complexities and dynamics in which children in red-light areas grow, substantiate the understanding that services for children need to be designed such that they promote children’s ability to survive and thrive and protect them from injury and physical and sexual maltreatment, highlight the necessity of parenting support services and assist the parents(here mothers) to be constructively involved in their children’s life with the aim to realize the latter’s full potential.Read here
